ML 350 non nav with dvd

ML 350 non nav with dvd

I just got my new ml350 with no nav system the command does have a dvd, i am trying to know if thats make it easy to add a back camera

If some one can help i will be very happy

2009 ML320 Bluetec
I just did that. I added a backup camera to my 09' ML. It's not terribly hard to do this yourself. I installed the camera myself and had the dealer to turn the backup camera function on the COMMAND. I want to do a DIY, but I didn't take pictures of all steps involved, so not sure how helpful it might be. The most difficulties I encountered were to figure out the wiring, relay stuff.
My total cost for parts (camera, relay, connectors, etc,) was less than $100.
So definitely a good DIY project.

I saw your comment and I wonder if you still remember what step that you took to install the back up camera? Did you order the camera from dealer?.. Any wiring need to add?
