2006 ML350 Fuse 44 blowing
 

I have had a portable satellite radio polugged in to the front passenger side power outlet for many years and now all of a sudden the fuse for it (fuse 44) keeps blowing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? Thanks

Does it blow when the radio is not plugged in?

Sorry for late reply N Jay. Been away for a while. Yes it blows even if I plug something else in.

I would start with loose connections at rear of power outlet. If it's a cigarette outlet then at times these get a short inside the outlet itself which would need changing
