Best way to replace rear SAM?
I am assuming the dealer might actually be the best place to go (purchase+program) versus finding something elsewhere.
Currently: fuel gauge shows empty until half (when it goes to full)
Errors for front marker lamps but they work just fine and ive replaced em as well.
I cleaned off the corrosion as best I could and my rear hatch began to work properly (never did before).
I sealed the brake light with silicone and it cut down 90% of the leak but there is still some water finding it's way in.
I guess there is a possibility that the sam is fine and the fuel gauge could be a bad sensor/sender. Is there a good way to figure this out? I do know someone with a same year ml350 w/ similar options, i bet they would let me swap to test but I dont want to cause them any problems.
How much should I expect to pay for a new one?
