On the front of my 2006 ML350. Can someone identify this? I have identified an air leak (vacuum leak) coming from this section. What should cover this? I'm assuming a hose or other rubberized part?

I have one of those accounts but I couldn't locate on drawings.

Its behind and a little below the air injection pump.

it appears to be a plastic nipple coming off the intake manifold. if the hose simply popped off then just fine the loose vacuum hose and reattach it. but if it has broken off id be willing to bet you will need a complete intake manifold. good luck

Thanks sn3akyducky... Yes you are right. It is a plastic nipple off the intake manifold. Upon very close inspection I noticed that this part was glued with what looks like JB-Weld. Indie shop recently had my car in for balance shaft issue and I'm suspecting that they broke this part and glued it back and now it has vibrated loose and fallen off. They also broke my MAF bracket and did the same **** poor glue job.

I have a new Air Intake Manifold on order and will be doing this job soon.
