Mercedes-Benz 2008 320 cdi
I discovered today that oil is leaking from the oil filler area while driving down highway. Lost 2 quarts of oil. I seem to remember reading something about a seal in the two piece oil filler that is problematic. Anyone heard of this?

Two quarts of oil leakage is a lot. Replace the cap ASAP if that is the problem.
One poster had his engine seize from oil loss due to a poor oil filter installation.
