CD won't insert..help...

Help needed. Just bought ml 280 eds CD I 4matic 2007 plate. It says no CD. When I go to put one in it won't take it in.

Please help. Miss my tunes. I have a slot near the radio. I also have CD button and CDC button. Both say no CD.
