Please help identify these parts and electrical connectors
Hi all,
A few issues I need some help with on our 2006 ML 320 CDI.
1. I need help identifying this plastic trim piece that was left in the boot when I purchased the car. I have no idea where it is supposed to go and hoping someone with access to MB Part numbers can help?
The Part Number is A 164 826 00 24.
Part Number A 164 826 00 24
2. I also need to identify what these electrical connectors are for?
a) This one is in the front right wheel arch and I assume must be for an ABS sensor, ESP sensor etc?
Loose connector in front right wheel arch - ABS sensor?
Just two wires
Has been fed into front right wheel arch but can't find where to connect it?
b) This one I think might be for the horn but I can't find where to connect it to? It is in the area around the front right headlight? Any ideas?
Is this for the horn?
c) And finally this white connector is near the front bulkhead by the side of the cabin air intake. Can someone identify what this is for?
Mystery white connector circled red

The 164 part is the cover for the Rear SAM (Sig. Acquisition Module) where the spare tire is stored.
As for the connectors, you must thoroughly clean them all and look at every part of the black plastic, even the thin edges, with a magnifying glass and copy down the part numbers.
Post back with results.

Just had a look and the Rear Sam module looks dry and intact and I will refit this cover in the morning.
Good idea about cleaning the electrical connectors, again I'll do this tomorrow and post the part numbers.
I've just spoken with the previous owner and he's not sure if the front wheel arch connector should be there? He removed the entire front of the car (inc. engine and subframe) when repairing damage caused by attempting the British Army's off-road driving course! Identifying the connectors by part number is clearly the best way of working out what they're for.
By the way, is it possible to get a copy of the Mercedes parts files for future use?
Thanks

Ok so this connector was in the front right wheel arch but I have pulled the cable back into the engine bay.
The only number on it is F8. The two wires are brown/white stripe and green/white stripe.
Only reference number is F8.
Two wires are coloured brown/white stripe and green/white stripe.

This connector has part numbers 52515 0 and PA 6 6F 30. The wires are coloured yellow/blue stripe and brown. It comes off a taped wiring loom running to the front right bumper area and must connect to something in that area. Horn, Airmatic compressor?

And finally the white connector has part number 968468 on the black plastic and 968 467 -2 on the white plastic. It has red/white stripe, brown and yellow/white stripe wires attached. It's taped to the loom that runs to the washer jets (heating element?) on the bonnet but isn't long enough to reach the bonnet. It must connect to something perhaps underneath the scuttle panel?

This is exactly the way a connector part # will appear 030 545 28 28. Ten numbers spaced exactly like that. Concentrate on one conn. and look carefully.

I cannot get it any cleaner!! The part number is tiny and has been partially worn out. I'm only able to see whats left using my camera on zoom.
The number could be 163 545 2323.
Thanks for looking but guessing the main dealer might be able to help tomorrow.

I ALSO HAD DIFFICULTIES WITH THIS CONNECTOR AND WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IT DOES BUT I FOUND THE LOCATION WHERE IT CONNECTS. Just look at the pic and follow my finger to the bottom wall facing the opposite site your are standing from/ use a flashlight. Good luck.
