I need a new rear driveshaft for my 2006 320 CDI or propshaft as its called here in the UK. The car is fitted with the off road package so the propshaft is approx. 60mm shorter than standard.

The correct part number is A1644101502, which has since been superseded by A1644103202.

I'd like to source a secondhand item and hoping someone can point me in the direction of a supplier so I can avoid the main dealer.

Happy to pay shipping to the UK if anyone has one for sale?

I'd tried these guys and just about everyone else in the UK with no luck.

Then last night found the exact part on eBay in Austria. Ordered and should be with me next week.
