2008 ML320 - air suspension pressure?
Per title.
My air suspension compressor recently developed a crack in the filter media chamber, which I have successfully sealed with epoxy, a piece of aluminium, and hose clamps.
I use my ML off road and therefore want to have a back up for the factory air compressor, to avoid getting stuck if it fails in a remote area. The second compressor fits under the back seat and will plumb into the air tank line. Hopefully the car ECU shouldn't worry about this, so long as the tank is the correct pressure range.
The compressor will primarily be used to inflate tyres, with secondary use as a back up to the main unit.
I'll fit a small air drier and pressure switch (for safety) into the line. A rocker switch will operate the unit.
I need to know the system air pressure to get the correct switch rating - does anyone know?
