2001 ML320 radio drains battery

The radio drains the battery overnight unless the fuse is removed or the radio is unplugged. If the key is removed from the ignition while the radio is on, it stays on. During a long drive this weekend, the radio would spontaneously turn off while driving but could be turned back on if the power button was pressed.

Is there a specific relay sending power to this radio that might be sticky, or is this a problem with the radio?

Thanks.

The ignition module supplies voltage to that circuit and if the radio is off and still gets voltage,ts the radio---start testing!!

Did you get the answer of your question? Please give me the link. I have same problem. In long trips, the radio restarts.

Fuse number 10 was blown. Replacing the fuse fixed the problem.
