Angry 2009 ML350 Loss of power while driving

While driving the power goes completely off and the check engine light goes on blinking the power, if I release the pedal the light goes off and the power will be good again.

I check for codes and there is no code stored, I did the service including changing the 2 engine filter and change the Mass Air Flow Sensor and is a lot of more power, but still does it again.

Please help!

There is no use guessing at what the problem. You need your own scanner.

Loss of power along with a blinking CEL indicates that there is a problem with the catalytic converter/s.

What must be done is remove the upstream O2 sensor on the right side(passenger) and install Exhaust Gas Pressure Gauge.

Start eng. and at idle, check gauge. Any reading above ZERO indicates partially clogged or fully clogged CAT. Then perform the same test at 2500 RPM.

Checking the left O2 sensor will be very difficult to access as it requires the removal of the CAT.
