Unhappy FACTORY RECALL
How do I find if there is a pending factory recall on my vehicle. New to forum and MBWorld so be charitable fellow MBWorlders!

There are 2 RECALLS for Takata Air Bags & 5 Service Campaigns.

Recall is a word with a very specific meaning in the USA auto world.

A recall is an action mandated by the federal government for and only for ...
a safety issue
an emissions issue

Recalls must be performed free by a dealer for the life of the car.

Therefore, your dealer is the one and only source for information as regards any recalls not yet performed.

Dealers also have lists of service actions applicable to your vehicle. None of them are free once the warranty has expired.

Go to the NHTSA website and enter your vehicle's VIN: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls
