2010 ml350 radio wiring...
Hey guys. 1st post. I have searched and searched. Can anyone lead me in the right direction... I am/have installed a new radio in the ml350. The radio has 2 wires (key 1 and key 2) that I'm certain are for the steering wheel controls (volume, channel). But I am not sure which wires they need to connect to.
Thanks |

What new radio are you installing, OE radio. aftermarket? More info needed.
Have no idea what key 1 & 2 means. |

Have no idea what key 1 & 2 means. Honestly just need a wiring diagram that tells me what each factory installed wire does. I can do the rest. I have searched and searched |

You specifically asked for a wire color guide and nothing about what each color does.
"But looking for wire color guide if possible." Keep laughing and you won't get anything further. |
Thanks for the diagrams. Do you have one that shows the command wiring? And colors?
|
And does this apply to the 2011 ml350?

At connector #1 (which is the largest conn.) wire #1 BLACK/RED. |
Are in dash amplifiers compatible with this vehicle? I'm thinking of installing an Alpine KTP-445U in dash amp

How am I supposed to know about any Alpine amp. Whenever you invade the original wiring you might well have problems. At your risk.
