You got a faulty relay, check it again.

Based on your VIN I reviewed the turn signal actuation circuit and found the turn switch request is passed to the central gateway module to the front SAM which, through microprocessors provides the on\off voltage to the turn signal lamp. There are no relays or fuses in the circuit.
I believe that you have a faulty SAM and this can all be confirmed with an MB XDOS short test. I have no other comments on the subject!

I am not a software engineer and can't answer that question. That is why the most important point of my previous message is on line three, the last four words.

When I removed the front SAM and the battery, this is what I see. Any ideas why I see the yellow sticky stuff on the floor?

Anyway, I found the problem on the front SAM that caused the turn signal light stayed on all the time. The problem was here: (Thank you for all your help, all the information you guys contributed!)

Then I used WD40 electrical cleaner, Q-tips, and rubber alcohol. After all the cleaning, this was how the board look:

And the problem was fixed! No more turn signal light staying on all the time
