Need Help with 08 ML W164

Hi, got a 08 Mercedes ML63 amg vin# 4JGBB77E38A353315 from an auction was flooded but it wasn't bad at all.
I know i am in a wrong thread but i dont see a specific one for ML63AMG looks like its all combined with 55s as well. but most ML cars would have similar stuff just different engine.

Check engine light on the dash and SRS cluster say that front right airbag problem.
Hooked up my MB 2 ICarsoft and it say error in communication will attach a picture. If someone can let me know why i cant read the codes and what should i do please.

Car have many things that do not work and i am assuming the problem is in rear or front SAM or in both. At first key fob did not work and battery was draining really quick. Took all the carpets out cleaned them out dried them good replaced main battery and auxiliary as well Took rear SAM apart it didnt look like had any water damage at all but i cleaned it out anyway with alcohol. took the front SAM out that one did have water damage so i cleaned it out with alcohol and installed them back. Battery stopped draining and my key fob start locking and unlocking doors. i will list the things that don't work on the car.

Airmatic Suspension does not work I put in a new Arnott pump, relay, and valve on it, just wanted to have new stuff, front struts looks like brand new and rears older but no leaks. Car is Low its on jacks stands.
i checked the 40A fuse and it does not have any voltage on it after starting the car.

Radio headunit works screen shows but no sound.
Windshield wipers dont work.
Turn signals dont work
Headlights work fog lights work but no high beam.
Rear Gate does not go up or down on its own but it locks and unlocks with a key fob. motor in the trunk was unplugged and module was unplugged i plugged both back in but there is one more white Female plug with 2 redish pinkish wires go to one pin and 2 brown wires go to another pin, and i see there are 2 white Male plugs that wires meet up in like 10 inches red with black stripe, red and brown. so i am not sure which one i should connect it to its around rear SAM area.
I think the rest of the stuff works but i might missed something, engine starts sounds good don;t see any issues there

I am assuming its Front SAM But if someone can point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it. would like to restore this baby back to life.
And if it is SAM, if i buy another one on Ebay do i have to code? adapt it to my car ? if i do have to code it to my car would Maxisys MS906 Pro would do the job?

Thank you in advance

What module did your codes come from? Can your iCard read Air Bag codes and Airmatic codes?

The narrative is too long.

Please make a list of what doesn't work.

I am pretty sure that it reads Air bad codes, not sure about Airmatic. but my Airmatic works fine now.

i have 2 different scanners and both have connection problem i cant fully scan the codes it stops at about %80 say error in communication

Things that dont work that i know of

1 windshield wipers
2 turn signals
3 cluster lighting but cluster itself works
4 right side light under the glow compartment
5 light under the front passenger seat
6 stereo sound
7 rear gate doesn't go up or down automatically motor seems to work i jumped it and connections at the plugs are clean
8 weird thing i noticed that radiator fan turns on right after i start the car and it keeps running

cluster have error messeges
1 is rear right tailight is out its obviously faulty taillights, i ordered new ones.
2 SRS malfunction front right service required (cant connect to read what is wrong )
3 distronic and speedtronic inoperative
4 check engine light ( cant connect to read what is wrong )
5 SOS tele aid inoperative

I am pretty sure some more things dont work but this what i know for now whats not working.
Please help

This definitely explains why my scanner cant communicate!!!

And this explains why there is no sound in the car!!

Why Mercedes hires Idiots who puts modules under the seat, all the way on the floor. where water collects. you spill a bottle of water you going to have thousands of $$ in damage.. But i guess they do it for a reason so they will sell you parts and charge you for labor.. just a shame that people dont use there head these days.

Its even hard to explain why in a world you run wires from where you hook up the scanner to under the seat to put gateway module so it will get soaked lol same with Amp bunch of room under the dash to fit gateway module and amp doesn't fit in my head
Why dont we put electrical boxes on the floor of the basement in our houses next to the water meter and let Mercedes take credit for it

My ML only had 2" of water under the seats in them big empty compartments its not only me im pretty sure many many people had water in there or will have sooner or later.
i will move my modules up after i replace them

I doubt that the WD40 and toothbrush trick would revive that one!

A good tip is to spray coat your replacements in PCB safe lacquer.

What are the plugs for on the pictures that i posted earlier? i assume that the bottom 3 white plugs are for the door sill lighting but not sure but no idea whats that little plug for with 3 wires.

What items front SAM controls and if it will be needing adopting to the car if i would replace it?
What items rear SAM controls and if it will be needing adopting to the car if i would replace it?

My Gateway module is bad i got a good used one. can i just install it or i have to get the data transferred from my original?

and i got a replacement AMP for the stereo, does it need any programming or just plug in and it will work?

Thank you sir!!

You knowingly purchased a flooded car which means that every module below every seat has been compromised.

Have you looked under every seat?

Yes, i did know it was flooded. I took a chance. and chance was good because engine didnt have any water. Plus from what i see there was not much water looks like it was raining and car was with open window or something or water came up from the bottom and not much. Plus who would ever thought that smart people at MB would stick important modules on the floor. And if i was Rich and had $100000 up grand to trow out on a new AMG truck i wouldnt be here asking for help i guess
Yes i looked under every seat under rear seats modules are fine i unplugged them plugs look nice and clean.
Most damage was under driver seat. Amp got it the most, Gateway got it good as well, Amp module the grey thin box had little corrosion on the plug but i open the box it looks ok to me. front sam had some water damage but it wasnt bad cleaned out very good. Hopefully Sam will work, that is why im asking what it controls so id know if its bad or not
What make it worse that i cant read any codes

The Gateway module must be replaced, but the dealer must code it. They might not do it since they are not installing a virgin module.

What are the part numbers of the the other modules that are under the driver's seat?

Are all of these connectors not connected to anything?

Look very carefully at the small connector with the foam around it using a flashlight and magnifying glass on every side of the conn. and look for a ten digit part number that looks look like this xxx xxx xx xx

Your vin # shows that you have Parktronic so look for a connector that will plug into it.

It really bothers me that I post a separate question and you did not respond. What's the next plug #?
