2011 ml350 bluetec designo
W164 exhaust
Has anyone tried to get a better sound from their bluetec exhaust? I've cut off the factory mufflers and to my surprise it's not any louder or aggressive sounding I've tried to find examples of different performance mufflers on YouTube but cannot find any on my application, I was thinking along the lines of thrush glass paks or flowmaster. Any advice on products would be helpful or a video link

Are you going for the Dodge Ram/Cummins sound?
hard to see why you’re surprised as before the mufflers, the exhaust travels through the turbo, a cat converter, and a diesel particulate filter.
You could remove the top and bottom engine covers and the front wheel well linings to let a little more noise escape.
