Thanks, it arrived today. Any ideas on how to get the grommet through without breaking it? The rubber is quite firm and not easily pinched or moulded. I tried for 2 hours today but no luck. I will try a hose clamp tomorrow to work like a piston ring compressor and see how that works but I’m very reluctant to use too much force!

That hose end does not look like the hose end that broke off.

From who did you buy that hose?

It was purchased from MB.
Old at the top, new at the bottom. I can NOT get it through in either direction.

Leeroy, it's a push in piece. Lube the front piece with Vaseline and push it in.

Yes you are correct. There’s a few (probably all same manufacturers) worked perfectly.

Now just to fix all the other parts MB butchered from previous times with the manifold off.
