Which window to break on ML350
What a clusterF. 2008 ML350 went into transmission limp mode. Had it towed to MB. By the next day, when the service manager went out to open the car, the battery was dead and the FOB(both) wouldn't open the doors. The mechanical key would not open the car either probably due to a mechanic issue with the unlocking mechanism inside the door. So now they seem to be stuck. Is breaking a window our only recourse? Is there a better way to go? I read somewhere that possibly the positive pole of the starter is accessible from underneath to get 12V to the system and be able to actuate the locking system with the FOB. Thoughts?

This place is a joke.
With the key blade turned in the door the handle has to be pulled rapidly many times to open the lock. Never break a window. Does this repair shop know what they're doing? Doesn't sound like it.

The car is at the dealership and they have had the car now for long enough to figure out how to get in. I was thinking that if they don't know how to get in without doing damage, I would authorize a window break. I don't know what they should be doing and they don't seem to know what to do either.
