Hello guys,

So I tried to start my car today and put my key fob in and I didn't hear the steering lock disengage and I turned the key over and nothing happened not even an attempt for the engine to turn over.
I tried to give it a boost thinking it's the battery and it didn't work either.
my radio and other components were working but no ac even with the car was turned all the way to the right.

then i came back the next day and tried to start it and it worked? any areas I should look at for. I was reading it could be the steering lock that's going bad but I'm not sure.
i turned the car off today and then put the key in like 20 times and the steering lock disengaged and engaged every time but yesterday it didn't do that.
does this mean the steering lock is going bad? or some other issue can cause it, best way to diagnose it would be to plug in and check the engine codes?

i checked the battery today and the key fob battery and they were good, at 12.4 volts resting and the key fob battery was fine and I even took the battery out of the key fob and it still started the car.
