Question ML 280CDI emergency/parking brake Wire adjustment possible?
Hi,

I'm struggling to find where I can tighten the emergency/parking brake wire. On W163 it under the car, but for W164 I cant find it anywhere.... The wire is going from under the car where left and right wire are connected to the main wire. The main wire is going into the cab under back seat (right side). Where is planned to tighten the emergency/parking brake wire?

Hi,

Thanks for the question.

The emergency/parking pedal goes almost to the bottom before it is the emergency/parking brake is securely on. Has adjusted the brake shoe behind both sides, can not adjust these further out. On other cars you can adjust the wire to the emergency/parking brake.

No,. adjustments are only made at the brakes.
