I just finally looked up my VIN information on the Vin decoder here on-site and one thing that caught my attention is that it's stating that this vehicle should have "Pwr assisted tailgate closing". Not sure what this is. Surely this isn't the power tailgate as neither my key, front door/window control unit nor the liftgate itself has any corresponding button, and the hydrolic "lifts" look just standard to me. What does this Pwr assisted tailgate closing mean? Is it just that the liftgate is electronic instead of mechanical when you go to open it? (Of course, that would be assisted "opening")?

so shouldn't there be a button on the bottom of the tailgate? Or by my driver's side door lock panel etc? Or on my key? Or is that a different option? I dont' see anything doing anything automatically on mine. Except when I do pull the handle to open it I can hear the locking mechanism operating electronically. But I still have to pull and lift open the tailgate manually (or it will re-engage and re-lock) same with closing. No buttons anywhere.

Also, the on-site decoder doesn't show me actual code numbers. Where are you able to find this without paying to see it? (and what they mean?)
