Hello,

i want to buy a w164 car, i found it nice body condition but there is too many problems at the engine dtc, and car is a little bit shakeing when idle.

And also car has Tire pressure Check! , aux battery error, top up coolant, ESP Unavaible and ESP inoperative on the indicator. ELM327 cant see the ESP Faults.

what is your decisions about this DTCs, how much cost will be fix?

i take this diagnose with cheap ELM327.

Owner says he didn't use car for 3 months, and he turn back car is shakeing. (i didn't believe him) he says i'm using company car, and he says i have no time to show car a diagnostic center.

Car is 2007 - ML350 4matic (benzin) - 175.000km (if it is real mileage)

And i'm at kazakhstan.

2007 is subject to balance shaft gear failure, do a search here, it's a major failure.

i understand, i need replace balance shaft / oil pump also when opened the engine better to change timing chain and chain tensioner. (its about 1.500$ in my country)

well what about the other failures, p0016 and p0017 causes misfire? or coilovers also need to be change? or intake system failure couses misfire?
