2007 ML 320 cdi fuel pump lock ring installation

Happy Halloween to all,
Do anyone know any trick how to install a lock ring cap on the fuel pump with out leaking. I change the fuel pump but the fuel keep leaking after installation.

thats because you did it wrong go to MB WIS for the correct instructions

2002 ML 320 & 2006 ML500
You need a new ring nut and a prong wrench and the ring nut must be tightened to 81 ft. lbs.

But you do not mention getting the prong wrench. The prong wrench must be attached to a torque wrench to obtain 81 ft. lbs.
