2008 ml63 bogging at above 1/2 throttle
Bought a 2008 ML63. Cats are removed. Ran ThinkDIag (all I have right now) and the issues listed are many in the body, lights, etc. but no real regular codes. There is a reference to the Central Gateway Module so I have one on order and a CarProg and I am going to fix that by cloning it, I hope. Sweet car. Developed a bogging issue. It started on a wet road off the start and only off the start. It felt like a tranny slip at first or a wet road. Then this continued but the car bogs and bucks even with all the settings: Sport, Manual with the finger tabs shifting Comfort modes. If I just drive easing into the start past first gear and then give it throttle even full throttle all the way through it runs great. It only happens at the start off the line when I give it a good push on the throttle. The bog and bucking happens every time. Cleaned the MAFS and they looked clean. Tranny seems tight and shifting great except in response to the bogging. ThinkDiag Report attached. I tried the command module clone on my e320 last year but just gave up on it because (I think) I had a bad carprog or something. This time I will get this done to fix the central gateway module problem. Do you think it may be that alone that is causing this? The results sof the scan are all over the place. I don't think it is the tranny because everything works fine other than the gunning off the start which I will not do again. I don't see much on here like this so I am posting so that maybe one of you benevolent MB experts can help. Thank you for reading.

I thought the TPS but it only happens at the start off the line with layin' gin the pedal. I am wondering if this could be the traction control system and no coeds or clues because of the gateway control module problem. Thank you for your input.

I am replacing the interior battery and the Gateway Control Module. I have everything to do it. The CarProg, soldering kit, etc. It is a shame we can't just plug into the OBDII and do it but it's a Mercedes. Then I should be able to get real codes.
