W164 ML350cdi 2010. Error message won't go away

Daytime driving light error message.
Had an error message: "Left-hand daytime driving lamp"
Installed new driving lamp, but the error message persists...
Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else.
Is this bad wiring? Bad SAM module?
Please advise.
