WSS - 2006 ML500
Hello,
I have these 2 codes related to SRS warning for the passenger seat. I've tried a few times to delete these, but they don't want to go away. Using a Foxwell code reader, I've done seat adjustment and Weight Sensing System configuration successfully, but at the end of the process, it says to delete the codes and try again. And of course these codes cannot be deleted.
Any guidance will be much appreciated.
91C0 A component of control unit WSS is defective or not caliberated (exact wording)
91C3 A component of control unit WSS may possible be defective or not caliberated (exact wording, slightly different to the first code)

Were you able to resolve your problem? I am having the same issue and have the same codes on a 2006 R500. Hoping you figured out something that I haven't. If not, maybe we can compare notes. Thanks, Brian.

FYI
Took out the seat and thoroughly cleaned all 4 WSS sensors under the seat, removed dust covers, cleaned with compressor air, MAF sensor spray, then again with compressor air. The code still there!
Maybe, I'll have to change all 4. I have to figure out how to test them before then. Unlikely for the 4 of them to go bad at the same time.

Update:
I ended up replacing all 4 weight sensing sensors and the module with known good ones from a parts car.
I looked every up and cleared the codes, but the SRS light came back on when you would start it. Then, if I checked the codes it would say no codes, but they would be in the history. I went to a friend's who has a star scanner of some kind. Not sure of the brand of actual device. He zeroed the seat, then did the weight calibration and cleared the codes. Everything is now working properly and I am pretty confident it was a good repair. I got the parts on eBay. Hopefully this info helps. Thanks, Brian.
