Question 2006 ML-350, Crank, no start

Hello,
I have a 2006 ML-350 (w164). It was driving rough for a couple weeks then one day went and filled with gas at station, drove to supermarket and park, since then it would only crank (keeps cranking for a few more times even if key is released) but would start.
So far:
  • Changed the crank sensor
  • Tested that the fuel rail is getting 55psi
  • Added new fuel to the air intake directly (in case fuel had water from last station fill up)

I'm running low on ideas. Please help.

BTW - cleared and re-read the code and only something ignition Terminal 30b undervoltage came up. I can get the exact code if we think it's that.

Spark, fuel, compression in that order. So if you’re getting an ignition based code, I’d be all over that.

Battery is charged. Check all fuses and swap around same delays.

I feel there is a simple issue being overlooked.

Got a spark plug tester and got spark. Still no start. This is just incredible

Would be good to see all your codes in detail no matter what they might be. How many miles on this?

You've got fuel pressure but are the injectors firing? Look for a.wet spark plug.

Any history of check engine lights or other codes? What repairs if any? Are swirl flap actuators doing their thing? Is the starter Turing over quickly?

Will do a new scan and get the current codes. What method to look for the injector fireing or wet spark plug?

Always has the check engine light on for a decade. 163k miles. Had a rear end hit last dec. Insurance fixed it but never seemed to run as smooth as it did prior. They claim nothing in front is affected by the rear hit. Geico. The starter is turning over even when key is released. Not sure I know what swirl flaps are.

What are you reading the codes with?

Also ECM and or security system can be causing the headaches .

Well that is just it. The surface area is still very large despite what I have already confirmed. I would hope for security system that it wouldn't even crank.

What relays or fuses control the injector? I'm inclined to now rule this out.

I replaced the intake manifold about two years ago along with spark plugs and coil pacts
