List of compatible Smart Phones???
1) The USB and other cables provided by MB are known to be compatible with iPhone 4 or earlier. What about the other phones such as Samsung SIII and HTC. Is there a reference list somewhere to consider other options than Apple. I know we can use those phones own USB cable. However the length of MB's cables is so convenient.
2) In my previous 2006 W166 I installed the fully integrated phone. At that time in Canada, the only approved phone was Motorola E815. The full integration cost was $1,600 but came with many facilities. Power amplifier under the passenger seat, hidden roof antenna, phone battery charging when car is running, automatic switch on/off with ignition, automatic contacts download to computer . The new bluetooth connection provides a clearer link than before thanks to a better microphone. Any one knows whether the new system includes a PA and exterior antenna.
