sweet. Mine is on order. Same color etc. Can't wait. Tint looks awesome.

Looks great. How much tint is that?

New York allows only 35% of light to be blocked. I always had darker tint, but this time around I don't think I want to worry every time I see a cop. Not sure if 35 is even worth it.

Yours looks great, but it's probably quite a bit more than 35% of light block.

I had film installed on a lot of my ML63 due to the heavy use of gravel chips used in winter sanding operations. My dealer did not recommend covering the headlights due to yellowing.

I am aware when the product first came out about yellowing but isnt the new stuff a lot better?

Yes no yellowing and certainly a must for headlights..complete front end and sides for that matter..too bad there's no application for the windshield too..

Yes, headlights are a must. The clear bra helps also getting dead bugs off. Although the installer told me he doesn't do lights anymore. Said he did a Cayenne and the film pulled off some protective coating on the lens.

Your GL looks a lot like an ML.

Nanook 01-27-2014 02:21 PM

That is an ML ..

buster04 01-27-2014 04:14 PM

Yes it is a ML. Oh, no.. I paid for a GL.. no actually I did trade in a GL and simply have a typo.

I also have the clear bra on my ML350, on the entire front hood, bumper, mirrors and headlights. I plan to wax it once a month so the bugs don't stick. I think a great investment.

Very nice, love the aggressive look.
Just loose those chrome things in the handle recesses

Thanks. Same price here in FL..

Coreysimms 01-30-2014 07:00 PM

Same here in Cali. Double that if you do it through the dealership.

xMB007x 02-26-2014 11:23 AM

Does the clear bra interfere with the distronic sensors behind the front bumper?

I'm thinking of getting one installed.

buster04 02-26-2014 12:50 PM

no they cut out around them
