Pulled out my ML550 yesterday to go pick up a Nest thermostat and all of a sudden my "check engine" light turns on :mad: . Not too happy about this. Even though the lowes I went to was 3 miles away I got concerned. Didn't take it over 2k RPM on the way home.
Heading to the dealership this afternoon..I'll let everyone know what they find. |

The tech said it could be a cylinder mis-fire..? I told him the car was driving very different than usual. Anyway, i took it back and will be dropping it off Wednesday to have it stay with the tech for a few days, meanwhile ill be getting a 2014 E-class. Thats why i didn't leave the car at the dealership yesterday, because they didn't have the new loaner back yet. Ill post as soon as i get an update from the tech! |

It is like a couple plug wires were put back on..throttle response is the biggest change and power delivery is so linear now..this vehicle is deceivingly fast..no hoopla / big revs / big shifting..none of that..just..braaap braaap braaap and you're into triple digits...very quick and remember my other car is a ZR1..now there is noise and wheel spinning drama. This summer I'll have to run the two..say 40-130 will be an interesting test as the ZR1 can't get traction from a start and the ML needs a roll to get deep into boost...blower versus turbo's :)
