2014 ML550 is here!
3 Attachment(s)
I picked up my new 2014 ML550 on the weekend. It's fully loaded minus the Off-Road Package, obsidian black metallic paint and black interior. I'm coming from a 2012 ML350, so I'll limit my comments to the aspects that are different between the two.
1. V8 - I'm loving the extra horsepower vs. the 350, which was no slouch. I think "effortless" is the best word to describe how it rides. At highway speeds, passing and maneuvering between lanes is quick and responsive. My wife was on my case the whole way home about my "testing the acceleration". Love the meaner exhaust notes too! 2. AIRMATIC Suspension - I didn't get to play with this too much, but Sport mode tosses you around quite a bit (especially on terrible roads). Comfort mode on the other hand makes it feel like you're gliding on glass. 3. Leather Interior - I think it definitely looks nicer than the MBTex, however, I've never really had any issues with MBTex in the past. It does feel a little more supple and the ventilated front seats are awesome on a hot day. 4. 360 Camera - This is a nice feature to have when maneuvering this beast during parking. My wife might be able to park straight now that we have a top-down view (haha)! Overall, I'm very pleased and glad to have gotten one of the last 550s with all the options that I wanted. The black metallic paint is perfection! Nothing against the palladium silver on my 350, but black is the boss! You do notice every little mark though, so now begins the weekly cleaning ritual..... |
Very nice, congrats :y
From now on the tough part will be not to get speeding tickets! |

Very nice ML550. We offer a great ECU tune and a sport muffler set for the ML550. If you are interested please let me know I would be glad to assist you.

Enjoy the new 550. I leave the Airmatic on Sport 99% of the time. I prefer the tighter feel.
Only one speeding ticket so far which is a miracle. |
I've had my 2014 ML550 for 3 weeks now. Why is it that everyone else is driving so slow all of a sudden?!!?
