unlock DVD in motion with Software (dvdinmotion.com) reviews!?
Hi,
know I also have a W166 350 Bluetec from 2014. I want to unlock the DVD in motion! I read a lot about harness but also found some reviews regarding the Homepage from (dvdinmotion.com) that offers a non hardware solution.
But I´m a little bit sceptical because some people review that they have some Problems with the solutions from (dvdinmotion.com). E.g the Navi goes offline.
Is somebody here who can confirm the same issues? I don´t know what is the best way to fix the Problem!

I installed back in oct and works great. My car is a 2013 ml550 and everything works while movie is playing. Lucie is the best and answers all questions super fast. I asked the same questions. I trust dvdinmotion.

DOes this allow you to use all the navigational features that are normally locked out while driving. I never use the DVD feature but would be nice to be able to use the navigation will in motion.

I bought finally the software from dvdinmotion. Works great, dvd and also the online applications are during the drive available. Great job to the dvdinmotion team.

Dvdinmotion did not work for me
Tried their software several times with no luck on my MY15 ML550. Customer service was great though, and they gave me a full refund. I would not hesitate to try buying from them again one day.

Ordered online and received a link to download software with a activation code. Made a cd from the downloaded software and installed into vehicle.
Works perfectly as should and no problems with navigation on the car which I was initially concerned about after researching some owners had a problem. Maybe I was lucky or was an Australia model which in other words European model.

Been trying for the past 2 days... Not working on my 2012 ML350.
It would never reboot after inserting USB drive then I had to shut down and wait 30min to try again.
Still on email contact with them but I've tried everything, it doesn't work.

the customer service is great, they refunded my money even thought it was my own fault. my USB connection was not working and I had never even test it. I would definitely buy it again once I get my USB port fix

No side effects, safest solution in the market. I've used a similar software from bimmerguru.com and very satisfied

well if you already have the DVD, someone should upload it online, so we can download and burn it to a disk or load it VIA USB

I actually purchased one from www.bimmerguru.com. It works great, Video in motion, Navi address entry and Apps browsing while the car in motion all works. It took a total of 5 minutes to install after you have burned the installer on a DVD. The great part is you can install and re-install anytime so it does not void any warranty! Seamless solution compared to installing a donggle or something on the head unit! Plus, their support is awesome, email answered promptly..... i recommend this....
