i just bought a 2015 ml350.

does anyone know whether i can use the auxiliary port of either of these parts to connect an ipod or satellite radio:

According to EPC the part number is A0038270404, so looks like you are in luck.

I just picked up a 2015 ML350 also. My dealer included a set of three cables. They plug into the "Media Interface" port. One has the old 30 pin iPod/iPhone connector, the other a USB female, and the last a female audio in jack. I have an iPhone 5s, so I picked up a 30 pin to lightening adapter and it works great ! Depending on the audio out configuration of the Sat Radio, you can probably use the USB or the audio in cables.

Wierd, with Premium 1 - with Media Interface as part of that option package - in US 2015 ML's come with the i6/lightning cable - with a older 30 pin cable "yes" a Apple lightning-to-30-pin connector (with chip inline) will adapt over 30 pin cable to i6..

I believe the OP is asking about non-Premium 1, non-Comand hence no media interface - so depends if he has USB port - or headphone type jack/port.
