Happy 2015 ML250 owner

Just posting with only good news to help offset all the complaints we usually see.
I have had 35 MB's since my first in 1971 (280SL). This is one of the VERY best. Bought off the showroom floor. It is not your basic diesel ML.

Cinnabar red
Black Tex
Open pore ash wood trim
Heated steering wheel
Heated rear seats
Trailer hitch
Prewired rear entertainment
KeylessGo
P1
Lighting pkg.
Parking assist pkg.
Driver assist pkg

Total msrp $63,380

Have done the following. Since there was only the base radio, have
$3,000 in audio upgrades. Changed from 18" wheels to 19". Changed tires to 19" Conti CrossContac LX20 ECO_PLUS. Changed oem springs to
H&R lowering springs.

This is THE best MB that I have ever had. Fast enough, good handling ( I was a hard core ralley driver in another life) Great fuel mileage, QUIET & No warranty trips to the dealer. Love Distronic Plus & the other goodies.

Believe there are some great advantages to buying the last year of production. As I am 80+ this will probably be my last car & I finally got it right. For pics see post "My lowered ML"

PS Have perfect original 18" wheels FOR SALE. If interested pm me.

Looks like you've got me by about ten, will be 72 in a couple months. I too, love my ML250. It does everything I want and more. Best car I've ever owned, wait, that could be my C7 Vert.

Gene Where are you in Ohio? Visited my 2 daughters,in the Cleveland area last week. Are you near the Cleve. area?
My birthday is in Sept. I am 10+ ahead of you. Recently completed another trip to Cleveland & Chicago.Almost 2,000 mi roundtrip. Avg 33+ mpg with city driving & a strong headwind all the way to Chicago. Have made all these mods because I do plan to keep my ML250. Don't drive more than 10k mi pr yr. Keep in touch. We can compare notes on our 250's. I am in N.C. about 35 min off of I77.

+1

I'm 35 and whenever my wife sees me doing something to the cars, she asks when will I ever grow up and just leave them alone. Now here's proof from 2 gentlemen that the answer is never!

Thx for the compliments

THE REST OF THE STORY

I will be 85 in Sept. This is MB #35. My wife (22 yrs) still asks me why--just not as often. Yes I am planning more road trips. I just don't drive more than 500 mi per day any more.

My wife is Canadian. Maybe that helps.

Jim,
You said your wife (22 years) is that her age or how long you've been married? :naughty:
