2014 ML350 COMAND Question - Browsing MP3's by Genre
Hello Everyone,
This is really bothering me -
I have a 2014 ML350 AMG Line - which came fully loaded. When I have a media device such as a USB flash drive connected through COMAND, I can browse / search audio and MP3's by various mechanisms like Artist, Album, Folder Genre Etc.
I play and browse most of my music based on the Genre. In my Audi, iPod and iPhone (Or any other media device in the world), I can select my Genre (E.g. Jazz or Bossa Nova etc) and get a full tracklisting of all songs with the matching Genre and can play those tracks (All the songs, across various albums).
COMAND seems flawed in that after I select Genre, I can only select one track under the Genre!!!
Is there a workaround to this? Am I doing somthing wrong? I want to use the Genre ID3 Tag and not move all the songs with the same genre into one folder (As suggested by my 70 year old dad).
Thanks for your responses in advance.

Long-press the dial on the genre you want to play...
But this brings up another issue - the songs always appear in the same order, and if you turn on random play, they always play in the same random order!
Also long-press doesn't seem to work on an entire Artist... but hope this helps somewhat.
