ECO Start / Stop............

Is the ECO Start/Stop feature standard, or an option? My GLE doesn't have it. The space on the center console where the Eco pushbutton is supposed to be is occupied with a dummy pushbutton. Does being built in early September have something to do with it?

The GLE350 doesn't have it. My GLE400 comes standard and I wish I can get rid of that piece of crap..

I purchased a "module" from MidCity Engineering and installed it..very easy it just plugs into the canbus...automatically disables eco at startup..I can still activate by pushing button (which I NEVER do)..was $200 ish

my canbus is above passenger well..this plugs into an open port..simple

If the GLE350 doesn't have Eco Start/Stop, what is it charging per the indicator in the active fuel consumption display in the center of dash? When coasting it goes all the way to max then over to charging display.

only standard on ML/GLE400/ML63

is it worth to have it added? does it make a difference in terms of fuel mileage?

both of my cars have it. first button to get hit on the ML. putting the GLA45 into S automatically turns off eco.

^^it will increase fuel efficiency. for many people it is a positive thing.
