2014 ML350 steering not locking in Park

I did a forum search and it seems this is a problem across the brand. Car has Keyless Go and we have no problem starting the car. I guess a trip to the dealer is in order.

You said in park, I'm assuming you mean with the vehicle turned off as well?

Yes. Engine was off. I texted the service mgr and he replied that the steering lock only come into play when the wheels are turned hard over to one side or the other. I did that this morning and it seemed to make the wheel impossible to turn, but there was no positive lock feel. My Durango has Chrysler's Keyless Go and the wheel doesn't positive lock either. I never noticed it before.
