Brake pad wear display

My wife has a 2014 E 350 Mercedes and the display window has check brake pads wear, does this indicate, replace brakes or is it that senor again?

This should indicate your brake pads require replacement as these are wear indicators.

When I fill up my wheel barrow with cheese and push it up a hill, my left leg starts to hurt. Does this indicate the wheel barrow is too heavy or is it my knee again?
