ML350 Remote Start

Has anyone had a remote start put on a 2015 ML350?

Totally agree. No wires to cut and splice, everything is plug and play.

Thank you, that's the one I was looking at. Now to find someone to install it at a reasonable price :)

Check with MidCity on the installation - I think for your model yr it is not fully plug-n-play - may require purchase of 3rd key for the circuit - and possibly one soldered-lead-to-pin

I have one on my 2014 since new and can honestly say best money spent. It did require third key and a soldered ignition module but the local installer overnighted the ignition module to MC both ways.

I used a $150 dollar coupon to get the third key so it basically cost me only $75 for the key including programmed to my ML.

So here is what’s so great about this setup.
1). You do not have any of those MB requirements of doors locked, more then 1/2 tank, windows rollled up etc.
2). You can set run time between 15-45 mins.
3). Your seat warmers turn on automatically.
4). Your rear defroster turns on automatically.
5). Programming is easily done via steering wheel buttons.
6). Can start/lock/unlock car from anywhere using cellular.
7). GPS locate and Valet your car from anywhere.
8). No MB high dollar subscription costs.

Go to drone mobile and see what other options you have with their mobile device that attaches to MC REMOTE START.

I love it, so glad I did it. I wish they had one for my 5 Series BMW.

coupon

Where can I get the coupon?

Thanks.

Rainers 01-14-2019 08:29 AM

The last coupon expired 12/31. Should be one coming out in March. I usually post them on this forum when I see them

Thank you.

Thanks so much everyone. Mid City is who I spoke to about it and they are really nice. They are in New York and I'm in Texas so they can't install it. I think I'm going to wait a little bit and see if they come out with another coupon :)

MidCityEngineering.com is in Chicago and there is a link on their page that’s has authorized installers everywhere.

I hope you were speaking to the the right people

I thought I had because Compustar gave me their number, but now I'm not sure. It was the smart key starter for a 2015 ML350, $699 plus $100 extra for the drone smart phone control.

I did it on my wife's 2015 GLK350. Once of the best decisions ever.
Be aware that using the phone drone system has a monthly fee - just like mbrace. There are several long distance remotes that work very well.. for free!
