The ML is at the workshop due to many issues so I have some time to think about a few things.

I noticed that the ML350s have dual exhausts coming out of the rear valance, but my ML550 doesn’t have that. Seems kinda weird that a V6 has it and the BT V8 doesn't. Is there a way to replace the valance instead of the whole bumper cover or no?

I like you would like to have the cutouts and have spent a lot of time figuring out what to do. But remember one thing, the normal ML or GLEs that have the cutouts, they are fake as the tail pipes do not hook into them except for the GLE 43 and other high performance models.

I have a 2015 Ml that does not have the cutouts. Mercedes ML had the cutouts intiially I think, they again brought them back in 2017 in the GLEs. The bumpers on the 2017 GLE and older ML looks the same. I think you could find a lower rear valance and transfer them. Not sure though. I have look on eBay at used bumpers and thought about just buying a used bumper which has the cutouts especially the GLE43 which has the 4 pipes which are actually hooked into he bumper.

I was hot on this for a while but it has become OBE and some of my facts are fuzzy.

I see you own a ML550, I am jealous , I cannot talk my wife into letting me trade down to the 2014 ML550. With Mercedes going to 4 cylinder and straight sixes even turbo charge, I think the ML550 is the one to keep.
