My Mom has a 2012 ML350 Unleaded Engine model. She said her power steering light was flashing. It has since cleared. I wanted to check the power steering fluid. Cannot find a cap anywhere near the pulley(7 I believe). All videos and photos online are for pre 2012 models. The owner manual mentions shows how to check all fluid levels...except Power Steering. Is there a power steering level cap on the reservoir for this year? Thanks!

It is electric. No fluid level to check.

To add to what vince said, there is no idiot light for power steering on the w166's, so not sure what your mom saw but it wasn't that.

Have her look in the handbook, it was probably the airbag or brake light or maybe the ABS light
