03 E55 AMG
Pneumatic Bloeout

I have an 03 E55 AMG and while driving I heard what I thought was air escaping from one of my tires, followed by the left side of my car dipping very low and red letters appearing in my instrument cluster informing me my car was too low. I engaged the raise button and drove home. I have determined that the left front Pneumatic shock has reached its expiration date and I need to replace it. I ordered the STAR Service repair manual and it has given me good insight to repairing the problem but states I should use equipment I do not Owen to evacuate the system. has anyone encountered this problem and made the repair. If so please give me some encouragement. I thought it would be a relatively easy fix but my manual has me in doubt.
Thanks NathanB
