A huge thanks once again for this thread. What an easy car to work on - especially with the guide. I am just wrapping up doing both coils on my car and kept the post open on my garage phone as a quick guide. The first one goes slowish, but the second side was a breeze.

If anyone buys exchange coils from V12icpack, know that they do come with new boots so don't go and buy a set like I did.

As for a special tool.... I did not need one. I have hands that break steel, but I kept them throttled down. The key is to be Slow, and Steady. Think Torque, not Horsepower. In my case I alternated between ends and then the middle to gently press them out.

The car is a happy beast again!

In regards to step 4, there is a wire that runs underneath the coil pack. (It's noted in the caption to "be mindful of these wires when removing the coil pack')

It looks as if one end of the wire is connected to the harness, but where does the other side of the wire connect to? On my car, one side of the wire is connected to the harness, however the other side is completely disconnected. (Which isn't entirely surprising since my coil packs were recently replaced.)
