11 second pass in our S600 but LOW trap? Help me diagnose, please!
Our S600 was supposedly tuned by Eurocharged before we acquired it. Last December on a 50 degree night, the car ran a 12.190 @ 110.32 with a 1.799 60 foot on MT Street Radials. I was running 100 octane unleaded this pass. I clearly knew the trap speed was low and figured it must be a bad intercooler pump from my reading. I bought an OEM replacement (Bosch I think) and had it installed shortly after. I was told the old pump was obviously shot.
After that, we did not go to the track again until just this weekend. I did the TCU tune from Speedriven as well.
Fast forward to this weekend. I went to an open track day which was very crowded and first pass I made the below pass. It was 80 degrees in the shade. Obviously, something is still going on though it seems I might have picked up a few tenths from the TCU tune though I didn't even get into 4th gear. I was also running at least 100 octane this pass.
I currently have a CEL for P0410. Could that be influencing the power?
I have the ability to read OBD2 data with my iPhone, so this morning I logged IATs which quickly got into the 140-160 range under very light driving in 62 degree cool crisp (for Florida) air during a 15-20 minute drive.
I am simply turning off traction control and power braking to launch. Clearly, I'm not doing too much wrong since my 60 foot is pretty good. Oh, I am also just pushing gear lever to left to engage 1st gear and then letting trans shift itself.
Help me make my car faster!

Your 60' and 1/8 split look GREAT for an S600.
You are giving EVERYTHING away in the back half.
Porpably:
1. Bad IC pump
2. Air in the system
My vote is 1
With my EC tune, I run 12.1's at 121MPH, street tires

Different car but, may be worth getting that code fixed: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w203...0410-code.html

AKA, same Bousch pump part number, different housing.
Although Ford mounts them vertical, while MB mounts them horizontal.

IATs on the V12TT will be 50-60* over ambient during normal, light acceleration. During a WOT pass, the IATs should dip to about 30 over ambient and slowly rise. When you logged IAT, was it after drag racing or before? You could''ve been soaked already, if logging after a day of racing.
If not, then you're looking at IATs that are 80-100* above ambient, and that is indicative of something going on with the cooling circuit. Since you've already changed pumps, my gut says it may need to be bled.
For reference, on public track days that I'm waiting in the staging lanes on warm days, My car will lose 3-5 mph. These cars just don't deal with heat very well.

Bosch did change this pump for an allegedly more reliable version: See Stoffie's pst here: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...s-bosch-3.html

I would try to bleed the system once again. I used 2 pieces of 3/8s clear tubing and joined it with a "T" to one single tube. then from there a single line back to a funnel up top to recirculate the coolant. I found it allowed the sytem to build some pressure to force the bubbles out, Otherwise as individuals it would barely push the fluid up the hose Also the clear hose allows you to see when the bubbles are all gone. Some say having the nose down compared to the back of the car helps with trapped air. All that assuming you are getting your pump to pump fluid. Good luck!!
