2005 E320 CDI, and 2005 S600
2005 S600

Doors don't lock and unlock, soft close doors don't work, rear headrests won't go down, and the trunk won't open. Are all these issues related? Is it one part that causing all this?

Yes, the PSE pump. Its a combined compressed air and vacuum pump in the LHS of the trunk that drives all those systems.

Search for PSE pump.

You may be able to get it working temporarily by removing & re-fitting the fuse in the rear fuse box, but it will fail again.

It's probably repairable.
