V12 tach output
 

Looking to wire in a window switch, need RPM signal, has anybody wired in a tach output somewhere? I tried backprobing the OBD signal wire at the m/e and was getting an inconsistent signal (pin 12 connector 4). Hoping someone has more info to save me on trial and error time.
