2008 CLS63 AMG - 57k miles, two owners since new

Up for sale is a very rarely specced CLS63, with all of the right Modifications to make this OEM+ vehicle mimic a four door CLK63 Black Series. I purchased this vehicle from a Mercedes dealership, where the previous (only) owner traded in the car for a newer model CLS63. I purchased the car with 51,6XX miles, and have placed another 5,000 miles in my care.

Upon purchasing the car in December 2016, I immediately went to take care of any and all maintenance needed, including an A Service, motor mounts, front suspension bushings, transmission and differential service. It needs nothing mechanically.

This car features the illusive Performance Package, which was a very rare option given its original $9550 price tag. It included, among other things, SL65 front brakes (390mm two piece composite rotors), and a limited slip differential. This option is paired with an even rarer factory option; carbon fiber trim. This was a $2500 option, and the quality of the trim is impeccable. I have never seen another CLS63 to feature these two options together (I have only ever seen one other CLS with factory carbon, even!). In addition, this car features Premium 2 Package, which includes creature comforts expected in a 2018 vehicle such as Keyless Go and heated and cooled seats.

The interior is in incredible shape, and shows as new. The only interior modifications consist of a full Reus Systems SSt 16.2 sound system (Google Reus Systems if you haven't heard of them - they are the preemptive high end stereo installer on the West Coast) and a factory CLK63 Black Series steering wheel (which is insanely rare, given that only 349 were imported into the US). I sourced brand new AMG floor mats upon purchase (now discontinued), and the interior shows like a car with 5,000 miles.

Those that know the CLS have heard of issues with the factory Airmatic air suspension. In response to both improving the handling of the vehicle, while enhancing its reliability, a KW V2 coilover suspension was retrofitted to the car. In addition, the entire rear has been fitted with adjustable suspension arms (toe, camber, thrust, sway bar), ensuring that the alignment could be perfected, which it was thanks to West End Alignment in Gardena, who did a full string alignment and corner balancing.

In pursuit of a conservative power increase, the car has been fitted with Rest of the World (ROW) airboxes, which eliminate the US-only charcoal filters. UPD air filter spacers are used in conjunction, and provide a healthy power bump by increasing the available surface area of air flow through the airboxes. These modifications are polished off with Dime Racing (Weistec) ECU and Rev Match tunes. The sound has been improved with a bolt-in resonator delete and x-pipe, which gives a nice sound bump, while still being very manageable with no drone.

Exterior modifications consist of rare Schmidt VN-Line wheels. These German-made wheels use Radinox lips, which are polished stainless steel, and essentially indestructible. The only other exterior modification are 09-11 LED tail lights with plug and play modules.

This overall condition of the car is excellent. I am a very picky owner, and this car is among the cleanest I have owned. There are no door dings, and the paint around the car is all original, including the front end. There are holes where a front bumper has been drilled, but because it's factory paint, I have not touched it. There is also a brand new OEM windshield.
