I used on my 2016 GLE works. Not needed anymore. I had apple carplay from factory, so I had all the needed hardware, I just didn't have Android. it activated successfully. Before and after pictures included. (you'll see I had carplay but no android) Please make sure you have all the necessary stuff, hardware and software. Do your homework. 1. Connect our tool between car and audio 20 navi head unit
2. Input activation code no.1, system will reboot
3. Input activation code no.2, system reboot
4. Dealer DIAG keyin code no.3, system reboot ; Done !
5. Go to TEL menu to check all the activated functions Carplay & Android Auto
6. Remove toolkit, install back the Navi Head unit
