The phone number is linked to a "Text Now" app which is a fake number - no address required to register.
When I was dealing with the seller, I had asked to show me a picture of the tips next to a ruler but he kept insisting its 3 inches wide which we all know it is not. Also, when I asked him for his name and address so I can send him shipping labels. He replied with my own name and said he's Asian too. Very, very odd as I have a fairly unique name. Also when I presented my case to Paypal for a disupute, he claimed his account got hacked. However the funds were in hold status on his account because 1) it is a new paypal account and 2) it is not a verified address.
Nonetheless Paypal covered my *** which is why I initially went with that route. Hopefully he turns for you and you get your exhaust. Otherwise, you are covered by Paypal so you will be good.

Seller was paid tuesday, stated exhaust would be here today...but it never showed and he has been unresponsive all day. No way Exhaust/freight is making the trip from Oklahoma to NYC in that time...
This scammer must be working on the formula because i was unable to use my paypal credit, instead i used a credit card linked to my paypal....added a few extra steps to my dispute process but im still covered.
I look at it this way, $4000 for two mufflers and a few feet of pipe is robbery no matter what...still sucks tho.

This has happened about a half dozen times in this new marketplace and people are still buying from people with little to no posts and are getting screwed. When a guy in this very thread had an issue with him already and his place of habitation is in 2 different locations, that's what you call a red flag. At least you used caution in using PayPal. I hope you get your money back and I hope others stop falling for a$$holes like this who pray on ignorance.

I bet it does...for the money id have to do headers before an axle back though...i knew the risks going into the transaction, ive owned several highly modded cars and have had some serious part outs. Ive given fellow enthusiasts crazy deals through the years so thats why i was willing to go out on a limb. I was looking for some reparation.
I did not research the phone number well enough. I found out on my own about the text app, but only after the fact when i tried to call him today. Had I known, that would have been the black flag.
