I have for sale a 1996 Mercedes W210 E300 Diesel non turbo for sale. White exterior with grey interior It currently has 263K miles on. It is very clean inside and out for its age. I have always changed the oil every 3-4K miles and regularly changed the fuel filter. It has 17" Mercedes AMG wheels that I got off a CLK. The wheels have Michelin Pilot Sport tires on it with about 30% tread left. I have a set of used Yokohama tires that can go with the car. This car regularly gets 28mpg around town and 35mpg on the highway.
These are the things that I have done since I have owned the car:
- Engine wiring harness replaced
- Engine mounts replaced
- Radiator replaced
- All fuel lines in the engine compartment
- Drive belt, roller, and tensioner
- Fuel injectors and injection pump resealed
- Front wheel bearings and front ball joints replaced
- Fan clutch removed and a Spal electric fan conversion with separate wiring harness and weather resistant relay
- Water pump replaced, water pump housing resealed, new thermostat and coolant system flushed.
- Crankshaft speed sensor
There are some issues with the car. One of the glow plugs is broken in the cylinder head. The right rear door will lock but not unlock with the remote. It can be unlocked manually. While driving, the engine would intermittently cut out briefly. This issue has not happened since I replaced the crankshaft speed sensor. The cupholder has broken and is no longer in center console.
